Berwick Holiday Park Google Map

Review

My wife and I were looking for a short break away, we looked at classy hotels, fabulous breaks and a couple of exotic locations but we have barely enough to make ends meet sometimes and so chose "Berwick" because it was cheap. It was certainly that.
As you can imagine, we were expecting something that was barely palatable. A basic caravan, (which is what we had paid for) but we would take a few trips to make our holiday better.
The park is easy to find and close to the centre of Berwick. It is well laid out and clean, The caravan itself, "the cheapest on the site" was still wonderful. Clean, comfortable and a nice place to stay. My wife and I went to the shop on site and the bar/restaurant and both were reasonably priced. Comfortable and easy to use. I would highly recommend this site.

We took our family and all the grandparents and all had a fabulous holiday so much so we have booked again for April. Caravans were excellent and there was plenty to do for the children, food was good and amenities were excellent. Would highly recommend.

We first went 2 years ago with all the family the staff are fab the facility’s are all clean loads for the kids to do and the caravans are all really good condition clean and high standards we have now made it ah yearly week away I would highly recommend going to this caravan site for anybody that hasn’t been yet.

It was half term so we decided to take our 2 young G-Kids (Boy 5 & Girl 8) up there!
It is a lovely site, not massive like Haggerston but really nice & it was spotless and clean.
Loads of machines in the very large amusement arcade but we did'nt bother losing all our money on them. We give the kids £1 each in 2p coins & they lost it in 30 seconds, so that was that (as like all young ones these days, they hate losing!!!) LOL!
All the staff, from the Gatemen, Swimming Pool Attendants,(Extra Special) Cabaret Artists & everyone else are fantastic. As usual the soft drinks in the Bars are a rip off but the beer is OK & items in the mini market shop are about 30% dearer than the cheapest supermarket! The weather was brilliant for the 3rd week of October & we actually had an hour on the beach at Spittal (Beautiful Sandy Beach) one day, which is only a couple of miles away! Great food in the restaurant by the way & very reasonable. We were told to stay away from the on site Fish & Chip Shop, but we tried it & the food was superb! Berwick shopping centre is OK, but walk there, cos the parking is awful & complicated. We will definitely go back to that site in the summer months, to try out the outdoor pool & let the G-Kids spend more time in the play park.
