Great quite friendly place . Staff ok , very peaceful .... stones throw from the sea ... short walk into town . Only drawback is the awful congested road near the camp . This is our 5th stay and we love the place . dog friendly caravans ... right near the A1 ... plenty of history in the town and places to eat , though I find many less than good . All else fails theirs always a McDonald’s . All the big supermarkets are close by apart from Sainsbury’s and Waitrose . Locals are friendly enough . Very peaceful town . Just on the Scottish Borders so plenty to see on days out in the car ... love the area .
I visited the park in June and also over bank holiday weekend. It is a wonderful holiday park, and would highly recommend it to couples and familys.
Caravans are very well kept, the Mash and Barrel serves lovely food, and has a good atmosphere. The showbar on a night is fab, and entertainment very good, funstars are fab with the children.
The indoor and outdoor pool are well kept, and the decking area a wonderful addition.
The park is in a lovely area, within walking distance to the town centre. Also on a good rail link from Newcastle if you don't drive.
On another note we visted Haggerston Castle on the way home, it was horrid! Full of Chav's if your a decent family come to Berwick as its got a wonderful atmosphere.
